At repairmybaxi.co.uk we charge a fixed price of £60 to service any Baxi boiler. We are Gas Safe registered engineers not plumbers who do the odd bit of gas work so rest assured you will receive a manufacturer level service. All our engineers are highly trained and attend regular Boiler courses. we will also add you to our register and contact you when your service is due the following year. If you have any remaining warranty left on your boiler we can fill in your boiler benchmark and maintain your warranty. You can add certain gas appliances to your boiler service for a better price but please contact us for more information.
Baxi boilers should last up to 20 years if they are properly serviced every year, your heating system is clean i.e. with our Magnaclense powerflush and regular dosing with inhibitor. Also when we repair your boiler we only use 100% genuine parts.
Once a boiler gets to around this age especially if it's not been correctly serviced and maintained its likely to become much less efficient and problematic. Around this time is when a manufacturer can legally stop making certain parts and things become 'obsolete'. This means a part that used to cost £100 could now be upwards of £250 and even be unavailable leaving you with our central heating and hot water and forced to replace your boiler.
If your boiler is more than 10 years old it might be worth replacing it especially if you've had a few parts replaced and you've lost confidence in it. Replace it with a boiler with a long warranty for extra piece of mind. If you've been happy with your old Baxi boiler be advised that we can fix the vast majority of problems and keep it running for you although it's probably much less efficient than a new boiler. Although getting a new one might seem like an expensive option, it could save you money in the long run by heating your house more efficiently and bringing your gas bills down.

My boiler is losing pressure? I keep topping my boiler's pressure up? Keep filling up the boiler? Is a very common Baxi combi boiler fault in Manchester and id say we go to this fault the most. We will advise you to check your radiators and visible pipes for water leaks, even the radiators you think are not in use and can book and appointment below. The most common boiler fault for this is the pressure vessel and safety valve (PRV) and we carry both parts on all our vans for a safe swift repair.

My boiler is tripping the electrics? My heating trips the electrics? Boiler knocking off my power? In Manchester and the surrounding areas this is a problem with some Baxi boilers. As long as you haven't been doing any DIY near the boiler cables it normally means inside the boiler is a small, mostly hidden leak that is coming into contact with your boilers electric circuit and it is tripping for safety. DO NOT keep trying the boiler or forcing the trip switch up. Call us immediately and we can fix this fault with your free service in under the hour.
