Low pressure in the boiler. If your boiler flashes E119 or E118 it most likely means your boiler pressure has dropped below about 0.5 bar into the red zone and the boiler has stopped working. This has to be the most popular fault and in some cases can be solved my the customer. The pressure gauge should read about 1-1.5 bar and above and below this can cause problem lock outs and give you no central heating or hot water. you need to locate the filling loop on your boiler and turn both taps until you hear the water filling up and turn them off between 1 and 1.5 bar. The code will turn off and the boiler will go back to normal. If you have bled a radiator you will have to top the system back up like this. Once you have fixed your boiler we recommend checking your radiators, valves and visible pipes for any small leaks and monitoring the boiler for a few days to make sure it doesn't drop again. If you find a leak or your boiler drops pressure frequently contact us or check out our boiler repairs page.
The E133 code can mean many things but the one that you can check yourself is the gas supply fault. Reset by twisting the control on the Baxi boiler to R for a few seconds then release so it springs back to place. If the boiler is safe to use it will try to fire up again.
Press the R button once and it should reset for a quick boiler fix. If safe to do so the boiler will attempt to fire up again.
